PEO PETTERSSON
Peo Pettersson |
Look what I've started - 1995 (with lyrics)
Notes:
- Peo Pettersson grew up with poor eyesight, but a good ear for music. This talented Swede started his music career at the age of 15 with his first recording studio, located in an old army fort. Able to play a wide variety of instruments (including guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, harmonica and mandolin) as well as being a great vocalist, arranger, programmer and producer, it speaks for itself that music has been part of Peo’s life for many years. The man has been in a number of pop and rock bands and toured internationally. During the 80s he has been recording, producing and writing for many Scandinavian acts (over 100!), but … not all of his songs went to other artists, as many of them were saved for a possible solo album. By 1989 the time to record that solo album - in his own Jiteco Studios (Skara, Sweden) - had come and no less than twelve tracks landed on “Look What I’ve Started”. All of them were co-written by Peo and his Australian friend and songwriter Rod West, with whom he also produced the album. This is what Peo had to say about the tracks on his solo album: “You can write songs all your life, but it doesn’t matter how many of them you write for other people to sing, there’s something deep down that says only you can interpret your songs the way you felt when you wrote them”. -
